The lone battle of the founder of MANAB in ensuring benefits of social security schemes i.e., ten kilogram of rice at free of cost per month and Below Poverty Line Card to a helpless seventy five year old lady in his village has helped him to experience harassment in the hands of the state actors and non state actors for raising voice against their wrong doings as well as the joy of serving the voiceless. During the period of his practice at Bar as a junior Advocate and activism since 2004, he has realized that there are numerous number of people who are deprived of their basic entitlements to which they are entitled to only by virtue of being human for living a dignified life and consequently their miserable suffering in their life and at the same time he has also realized his limited capacity to serve the people in distress conditions due to the violation of their basis human rights either in the hands of state and/or non state actors and felt the need of involving and organizing more and more people to get more strength and resource to serve more and more people in distress in a better way as well as to facilitate others an opportunity to have the taste of the joy of serving the people in distress due to the violation of their basic human entitlement. So, the intention to achieve the aforesaid broad vision led him to found MANAB. Till date since its foundation, MANAB, through National and State Human Rights Commission, has ensured the payment of Rs.25,25,000/ (twenty five lakhs and twenty five thousands) as well as the recommendation of Rs.13,50,000 (thirteen lakhs and fifty thousands) as Compensation to several victims of human rights abuse throughout the country. MANAB has also ensured the initiation of suitable legal actions by the government against the erring state and non state actors who have been found guilty of abusing human rights apart from ensuring government employment to the legal heirs of theose who have lost their life because of their human rights abuse in the hands of the state actors.
